Chiropractics …
Chiropractics cannot be bottled and sold by Multinational Labs, that’s why mainstream health care doesn’t like it.
For rationalists out there like me, I don’t trust any alternative medicine **except** chiropractic. It doesn’t make any magical claims, it’s just mechanic movement of vertebrae, no magic drugs, no mind power, no faith, no bullshit.

not just back pain …
not just back pain they dont focus in that it helps or heals many other “chronic” conditions, that can be helped, im paying for care but ohip SHOULD pay, they are willing to pay for surgery & drugs but not preventative medicine that is safer (safe) & effective!

Insurance is not …
Insurance is not necessary, even though thier profits would skyrocket if they covered chiropractic more completely. Most of my patients stand to save money by paying out of pocket.
As for access to care – I give my direct cell phone number to all my patients, or many docs have thier office number forwarded directly to them. I have had patients call me at 10:30 at night and at 6:30 in the morning.

insurance companies …
insurance companies want you to go to medical doctors so you take pain medication and do surgeries so they make money. if you go to a chiropractictor, ur back can heal naturally on its own, and drug companies dont make money.

You’re absolutely …
You’re absolutely right, but unfortunately, often people have had the problem for hours, days, and even weeks in some cases until it finally pushes them over the edge and they seek care. This often occurs at night when the mind is free of the trials of daily life and pain seems magnified.

My service calls me …
My service calls me 7/24 but sometimes we can’t do anything until they get the inflammation under control, hence, either we get the ability to prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs or get an MD as a partner…we will see what the best is for the patients!

Access to care is …
Access to care is the key… MDs do provide emergency room service. There patients are not made to wait. Your suggestion of adding a chiropractor to the emergency room is a great idea. As for the 24 hour answering service, how often does a chiropractor check it? Do they check it at Midnight or 3 AM in the morning? Again, when you are in severe pain and it is at night and you can’t sleep, it is then that you need the service. Making someone wait until 8 or 9AM the next morning seems lacking.

I’m not sure hours open are a precurser to respect.A General practitioner MD isn’t open on the weekends either!
Maybe we could have Chiropractors in the emergency room?!?
Personally, I have a 24 hour answering service for just such an occasion!

This video is great and very true. The majority of people in America are brainwashed into thinking they are being treated with the best health care in the world via the the medical system. If only they knew the truth…

22 years of …
22 years of debilitating migraines! subjected to research for pain killers & ended developing strong allergies to them, horrible side effects, ongoing E.R. visits & hospital stays. Someone suggested visiting a Chiropractor I agreed since I had nothing to lose anymore to my surprise I have not had any migr. in the past 3 mos not one! the very first visit the pain was gone almost immediately. I just wished I knew long ago. Free of migraines & NO side effects! what else could I ask my life is back.

After I had a …
After I had a really sore back, my back, even after the sore muscles healed, still hurt around the shoulder blade. It popped a lot and always had a slight burning pain. Just one treatment fixed it. He realigned the entire spine and then pushed the ribs back into place. A little soreness the night after the treatment but then no pain or discomfort since! Best $40 ever spent.

If it’s great for …
If it’s great for back pain why not the rest of the body? The back or spine is the core of your being and the main link between your brain and body. In her book Molecules of Emotion, Cadice Pert Ph.D says that the spine is the container of the subconscious mind. Even Hippocrates, the father of medicine said look to the spine for the cause of disease… If it’s good for the core of your being and the subconscious mind it should be concidered as key to a healthy existance.
